serene cottage escape
clean cottage beautiful view friendly staff
the cottage was very clean and had a beautiful view. it featured good kitchen facilities and a wonderfully large bed. a hot tub in the bathroom added to the luxurious feel. the york bistro served good food and delicious wines with really kind staff.
the shower had inconsistent temperatures, alternating between scalding hot and freezing cold. despite reporting this to reception, no plumber was available during the weekend. a working shower is essential, so its malfunction was disappointing.

the resort is situated among vineyards. its location offers a quiet atmosphere. it acts as a good base for trips to attractions in the immediate area and farther away, such as castlepoint.

the resort provides a shuttle service to the town center. staff members are friendly and helpful. i found them polite and attentive to requests.

the cottages are large and well equipped with multiple appliances. breakfast is included. there is a good tennis court available. the grounds are beautifully maintained and provide a relaxing environment.

temperamental shower unavailable plumber
The shower was quite temperamental. It alternated between scalding hot and freezing cold. Getting a plumber to fix it over the weekend seemed impossible for them. I received a bottle of wine when I checked out. I would have preferred a functional shower.
